Scoundrels is square in my sights. The Jimmy Christopher gig sounds fascinating. The Thirties through the Forties were just so jam-packed full of things that just slipped by without much comment. With the, to my mind, still unexplained but connected murders at Graystone Mansion. There was a lot of money in play during those years.
Power struggles among the richest of the rich. Mysterious deaths aplenty. There were Nazi U-Boat bases in Argentina. Hemingway was cruising the carribean with torpedo tubes and a 50 caliber machine gun on his yacht — supplied by the US Government. Yep, the Thirties are a fascinating time and way overdue for some PI stories.
